Surreal Life DVDs?

So after sitting through the entire marathon of SL4 today, it made me wonder if there's any knowledge of DVD plans in the future... This would deffinatly be a show that could use some uncensoring.

This was a cool reality show. I really enjoyed it, especially Season 1. I don't know if i'd buy it as i don't get much replay out of reality shows but I defintly think if Survivor & the Apprentice are out thiss should be too.

there was some website that was selling season 1&2 together exclusively. I think it was like $40 or so. They were legit releases, but i can't think of the website address

Odd, I had this site bookmarked to think about purchasing in the future, but now it's "under construction". Perhaps they weren't so legit?

They weren't legit. It was the same company that was selling the complete series of 90210 and many other shows that are not available legally.

Actually, the site WAS legit (at one time). At the beginning of Season 4, they ran commercials for the site early on. VH-1 had links to the site and I was very tempted to buy a set. The commericals and links stopped around the same time the website went dark.

Someone on the htf board bought a set and started to get worried after two months of no product. Some detective work discovered that the company WAS legit. He finally got his Season 1 & 2 box sets a while afterwards.

They were legit...

I first heard about them on Howard Stern, when they were interviewing the producer of the show. he did a plug for the website mentioned above. I ordered them, and 3-4 months later they actually did arrive. Pretty good quality set, I hope they end up releasing seasons 3 and 4 as well.

Yes they are. Including Ron Jeremy's infamous pool party.

Does that mean Trishelle Canatella and Traci Bingham's nudity is not censored?

If anyone is searching EBay for this dvd set just to get a glimpse of some celebrity skin consider this . . . I picked up a set of Surreal Life 1 & 2 from EBay and the set I have IS indeed censored. No skin from Trishelle, Traci or anyone at the pool party; blurry patches over all the naughty bits and any swearing is bleeped out. Personally, I was hoping for an uncut alternate audio track like the Osbournes DVD, but that didn't happen.

There's a trailer for SL 3 on the bonus disc that shows Bridgette Neilson rolling around naked and unblurred but that's about the only uncut thing I've seen so far. (and that isn't too great )
