too bad Hou Hsiao-Hsien's Cafe Lumiere still doesn't have a US distributor and hasn't much played the US film festival circuit.
I wasn't impressed with either Throw Down or Breaking News what other films are available and better than the aforementioned films.
I can't wait to see Manderlay - am very curious to see how Bryce Dallas Howard plays the title role of Grace Margaret Mulligan

It's nice to see To--the hardest working and one of the most talented filmmakers today--in competition. I thought his last two movies were pretty damn good.
If you are in NYC area Cafe Lumiere is having a limited run at the Anthology Film Archives this May.

I'm really eager to see these two:
Where The Truth Lies Atom Egoyan
Last Days Gus Van Sant
I'm always captivated by Gus Van Sant, even if I don't enjoy everything he does. That is, any picture he directs is worth a watch, in my opinion. As for "Where the Truth Lies," I'm about a week past watching "The Sweet Hereafter," the only film of Egoyan's that I've ever seen...and I was so thoroughly impressed that I'm soon going to seek out anything I can find with his name attached, with hopes that it'll live up to "Hereafter."
