Number of HDMI inputs

I will be purchasing a new television in the next few months, most likely ~50 inch LCD or DLP rear projection. Most I have seen have only 1 HDMI input. Will I run into input problems with this. I plan on obtaining the HD signal through my cable provider (Cablevision) and would like to upgrade to an HDMI dvd player. Thanks.

You can always get an HDMI switcher like This one. Some of the more recent model Home Theater receivers also have built in HDMI switching.

...

You could also get a receiver that has HDMI switching. I am currently using component from my cable box and HDMI for my dvd player until I get one myself. Yamaha just released the RX-V4600 with HDMI.

I think there's only 3 or 4 of these currently and they're all well over $2000 (closer to $4000, I think).
