So ECW One Night Stand will have it's own release? I heard before that it would only be packaged with the rise and fall of ECW. Anyway does anyone know what's going to be on the road warriors dvd and the 1980's dvd?

Apparently One Night Stand will see both a standalone release and a bundled release with "The Rise and Fall of ECW".

WWE ECW (Collector's Edition) = the bundle.

They haven't started working on this yet. I'm sure they have an idea of what they want on it, but at this point Bret Hart hasn't agreed to do it. They still have many issues (Owen, Survivor Series, etc) they have to work out before you'll see this. Bret and McMahon want this to happen...so I'm sure we'll see it some day...hopefully soon.

And hopefully when it does happen, it doesn't devote most of the set to the SS incident. I'm sick to death of hearing about it and find it sad that the event has since overshadowed everything else Bret Hart accomplished during his illustrious career.

Well, Bret had a good part in that happening. Not just the fact that he refused to do the right thing and drop the belt when he was told, but when he went to WCW he was a whining little bitch. How often did we have to hear him say "I know what it's like to get screwed"?

Speaking of which...I wish they'd release "Wrestling With Shadows" on DVD. Great documentary on Bret and the events surrounding that infamous day. If they ever do work everything out, I hope they include some his Stampede stuff on the set. Maybe once the books Bret is working on are released...we'll finally see the Bret DVD set.

Also, maybe I'm a sadist...but I'd like to see Bret & Ric Flair do a commentary on their 1 hour Iron Man match that happened at Boston Garden.

Wrestling With Shadows has an R2 release I think the chances of an R1 are pretty slim.

I was aware of the Bret Hart: Screwed DVD (how terrible of a title is that?), but I was hoping that they wouldn't leave it at that. I want to see a set dedicated to Hart OUTSIDE of Montreal, as tough of a concept as it is for WWE to wrap its head around. They tell us to get over it, yet can't stop bringing it up themselves, and in cases like this, profiting off of it.

The ECW One Night Stand PPV that's happening in a few months. No matches have been announced yet, but there's a lot of talent being contracted. The only thing that sucks is that TNA talent won't be there... so no Kid Kash, Raven, Shane Douglas, etc. Knowing his bad history with Vince McMahon and WWE, Joey Styles probably won't do the commentary.

I heard that there was not an official ban on TNA talent and that they had invited Shane Douglas and others to appear, but TNA would most likely not let them. That would do more harm than good for TNA so an agreement could be made.

I'd like to know if this will just be bundled with Rise and Fall or will there be any bonus stuff for those who have already bought that.

Is there a location set? Is it going to be in a "bingo hall", THE bingo hall (Viking Hall in South Philly), or an arena the WWE usually visits?

There are going to be 2 "ECW" shows within a couple days of each other.

WWE is producing "One Night Stand" for PPV and a later DVD release which will be in New York City. It will basically consist of WWE guys who were in ECW. Plus they are planning on bringing in a few guys who are not with the WWE. As of this time there are no TNA going to be at the WWE show.

Shane Douglas is promoting a show called "Hardcore Homecoming" (they can't call it ECW since WWE owns the name) a couple days before the WWE show at the old ECW arena. This is planned for a DVD release. Most of the guys contracted with TNA will be at that show, plus they are bringing in former ECW stars as well. The main event is a return 3 Way Dance featuring Sabu vs Terry Funk vs Shane Douglas. Joey Styles will be doing commentary at this show.

Some of the guys who are not contracted with WWE or TNA will be at both shows
