Aging actors you'd like to see plucked from obscurity

In the coming year, I will begin the process of casting my next feature. The three main characters are 70+ in age -- two men, one woman. In preparation, I was trying to think of some great aging actors that haven't worked (to their potential or at all) in a long while. for example, Roy Scheider's agent is one I will definitely be in touch with.

anyway, I was hoping to gather a list of candidates from everyone here.... any ideas?

Can you give some character descriptions (other than age)?

Harry Dean Stanton rules.

Rene Auberjonois deserves to be doing a lot more than voice overs for video games.

Jack Klugman
Peter Falk
Ben Gazzara
Richard Dreyfuss
George Segal
Gene Wilder
Roger Moore
Burt Reynolds - he in particular has really impressed me as he's aged.

Adrienne Barbeau
Joanne Woodward
Claudia Cardinale (Still looks amazing)
Katharine Ross (Butch and Sundance)
Anne Bancroft
Jill Clayburg (maybe too young)
Marsha Mason (maybe too young)
Verna Bloom

Cocoon - the Re-Return?

You can revive not only three aging actors careers but Steve Guttenburg's as well!

Conrad Bain ("Diff'rent Strokes")
Robert Guillaume ("Benson") - still working but not very often
George Gaynes (Cmdt. Lassard from Police Academy)
Max Wright ("Alf")

Philip Baker Hall would be great but he's still busy.

In terms of really old people, I'd like to see a film with Glenn Ford or Richard Widmark
I don't think they've been in anything for at least a decade.

William Edward "Bill" Phipps

Little-known character actor who actually boasts an impressive resumé of just about every major show you can think of in pretty much every decade of television, and had the distinction of being one of the first three men killed by the aliens in the original sci-fi classic War of the Worlds....

....and he went to school with my grandma.

(IMDB also says he was the voice of Prince Charming in Disney's Cinderella, but I don't remember Grandma saying anything about that. Bill stayed in touch with her a lot over the years. I suppose it's possible, though.)

For some women:

Lorraine Gary - Last seen in Jaws: The Revenge. I think it's time to forgive

Jill St John - Not total obscurity but would be nice to see her again.

Vera Miles - Just a few odd jobs in the last 20 years.

Joanna Barnes - Was in the last Parent Trap, otherwise not much last 30 years.

Elizabeth McRae - Last seen in Eddie and the Cruisers II but nothing else in the last 40 years.

Victor Brandt.

How's this for obscure, if he's still alive: Bob May?

He's a feisty little short dude.
