Anyone else still give PS1 games airtime?? If so - what...

Is it just me or does anyone else still drag out those old PS1 (or other platform) games from time to time??

Recently i have been playing Twisted Metal 2 - I have logged more time on this game than any other over the years.

What classic game(s) are you playing/do you recommend giving another spin??

I still play psone games on my ps2, give Bushido Blade II a spin every so often. Other then that only system I still drag out from time to time is the snes so I can hook up my super scope.

I have no problems playing older games for the SNES, Genesis (both of these are usually in rom form), and N64 - but I have a hard time getting around a lot of those generation 1 playstation graphics::shivers::. Now that all would change if I could find a copy of Intelligent Cube that didn't cost 19 million dollars.

My most revisited games are the N64 wrestling games and the Sonics (1-3).

I still bust out one of (if not) the greatest platformers ever--Castlevania-Symphony of the Night.

I've been playing Chrono Trigger from the Final Fantasy Chronicles recently. It's kinda weird playing a PS1 port of an SNES game on my PS2.

I still love my PS1. I have the portible screen on it. I bring it to work and I play on my off blocks when I don't have a class to teach. I love to replay my Final Fantasy games over. Until 12 comes out these will tide me over.

I try to, I really do, but the graphics are hard on my eyes now. I tried to replay FF8 and Parasite Eve, just couldnt do. Hopefully one day I can have a remake of those games.

The only PS1 games I've tried to replay recently have been Arc the Lad Collection [never finished] and Final Fantasy Tactics. FFT is old, but still classic gaming. On the DC, I'm working through a replay of Grandia II.

I've still got a lot of PS1 games I haven't gotten around to playing. Luckily, the PS2 can play them so I don't have to unpack it.

I remember getting Tomb Raider 1 for my Sega Saturn and I thought it was the best looking game ever.

I'm heavily debating on picking up a PS1 just to play FFT again. I did the same a few weeks ago by buying an SP and Tactics Advance.

I'm always willing to fire up the first two Wipeout titles for PSOne. I've also got Perfect Dark for N64, but don't fire it up too much any more

Yep, fired up Sled Storm and Tekken 3 Saturday.

BTW, I also played an hour or so of Missile Command and Yar's Revenge on my 2600 Saturday morning.

There's a lot of great 2D games I still like to play from time to time. Symphony of the Night of course, along with my precious Tales of Destiny I & II. I tried playing Lunar a month ago but I've been into action RPGs so much over the last couple of years it was really hard to sit through point and click again.

Don't forget the REAL Namco Museum series. Not the shit they put out on PS2.

I might have to do the same--I think my current PS1 is dying. The last time I played, I had to turn it totally upside down to get it to load FFT; otherwise it just spun and went clickclickclick. I know I can play it on the PS2, but the PS2 is downstairs on the big tv, and the PS1 is upstairs in the bonus room as a 'backup' system for when the big tv is in use. And i've got enough Ps2 games I haven't played/finished yet, I wouldn't feel right playing a PS1 game down there.

Wipeout XL and Wipeout3

I didn't hate Fusion like a lot of people did, but I still wish we would have seen a Wipeout title on PS2 in the vein of these two. Got to play Pure on a friend's PSP. Very nice, which it were a PS2 title!
