Sony DVP-NS575P vs Toshiba SD-3980
Budget DVD players:
Last years 3900 and 3900 toshiba's became region free with a hack and they received plenty of praise on this board. Now my question after searching videohelp.com: Is the replacement 3980 hackable? Is the Sony dvp-ns575p hackable? and as i own the $79 sony already and am happy with it's quality, region free aside, does the new toshiba impress. I need a player for second home and would love region free capability for the 1 international in every 200 dvd's I'll play. Basic functions and reliabilty are most important.
BTY: I'd consider the philips 642 but i have an Amazon gc and they been out of stock with a waiting list.
