Father of the Pride - June 7
From TV Shows on DVD:
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has just announced the release of Father of the Pride on June 7, the same date Amazon has listed, and we previously reported on. This single disc release will contain all 14 episodes produced for the series, including the unaired pilot and 3 unaired episodes. The show focuses on Siegfried & Roy's white lions, and features the voice talents of John Goodman, Cheryl Hines, Orlando Jones and Carl Reiner.
The DVD set carries a $29.99 suggested retail price for 228 mins of material. Technical specs include English Dolby Digital 5.1 and stereo tracks, with English, French and Spanish subtitles, and an anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1) picture. Universal plans to include scripts to all the unproduced scripts, but it's unknown if there will be any other bonus materials.

Is this gonna be a dual-sided disc? Cuz with 14 episodes, a 5.1 track, and text for all the unproduced scripts (not to mention subtitle text and anamorphic picture), wouldn't the picture quality severely suffer on a "single disc" release? Or am I crazy?
