After they get a chance to see the attendance at the first few shows, I expect the rest of the tour will look something like:

05/21/05 Lexington, KY Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall

05/24/05 Findlay, OH High School

05/26/05 Kalamazoo, MI Pizza Hut Parking Lot

05/30/05 Wherever we can go to generate the funds needed to get the Tour Bus back home

guess they're starting off in clubs to bring their level of suckekekekeke back to where it was before they left.

however, in all seriousness, i'm curious...I wonder which group'll have the eventual "ego-fueled" breakdown and cancel their tour first - BSB or Motley Crue?

I'm actually hoping that their new music is something I can appreciate. I know most of you will make fun of them, but IMO so much of the music of today doesn't excite me. I haven't bought a cd in months. (I don't download any, either). It's too the point now that I am listening to music from the 80's thru the early 2000's. I'm not saying I'm a hugh BSB fan or anything. I'm just saying it will be nice to have a "sound" or "song" that doesn't sound like everything else.

6 years ago, they did sound like everyone else. There were about 20 similar bands to BSB.

Quite honestly, the market for BSB is gone. Bands like this rely on a VERY young audience (about 12 years old) and most of the young kids out there aren't interested in these bands anymore. People who were fans of BSB have grown up and no longer care about the band.

Giles are you going to the 9:30 Club to see them?

I'd risk it, but no one I know would dare go with me!

Hey their audience isn't dwindling. It's just becoming more selective.

Clue: Just because you don't like today's shit doesn't mean you have to listen to yesterday's shit. And where do you get the idea that their music doesn't sound like anyone else? They're not the Mars Volta.

Right. I used to work with a 20-something that based her life on BSB. The only vacation time she ever took was to fly out to a BSB concert and stalk them at their hotel. In fact, she still runs a BSB fan web site, and she must be in her mid-to-late-20s by now. She'd spend every free minute of her time at work looking for pictures of Nick Carter online and finding things for her web site. It was quite retarded.

I feel pretty good because I don't even know who or what a Mars Volta is. I'm not saying todays music sucks or is crap, and I may have been incorrect as implying that it all sounds alike. What bugs me is that I just don't care for any of it. I like Eminem, but I don't like his new music.

As for early BSB music, I know they were the beginning of the new wave of boy bands, but at the time their music didn't sound like everyone else. It eventually got to that point. this music could come out and I'll hate it, but then again maybe I won't. There's just not of established artists who have anything coming out so far that I'm looking forward to.
