Comparison of new Bambi vs 55th Anniversary LD?

I'm curious if anyone has done a comparison between the new Bambi DVD versus the Fully Restored 55th Anniversary Limited Edition Laserdisc. This laserdisc also included "The Magic Behind The Masterpiece". I've seen a number of "newly restored" movies which appear to be the same version that showed up on a restored LD version years ago. On the other hand, there are full restorations like Star Wars which are even better than what was originally shown in movies.

Please do not post replies about the superiority of DVD over LD. That's not what is being asked.

Every Disney DVD remaster thus far has, in fact, been a true remaster from the ground up using the latest in digital correction technology--it will certainly blow the LD's image away.

There is a very good discussion of the two at HTF (not that it can't be discussed well here).

Holy crap that's a fantastic review... pretty much answers any possible question I had. (And a few I didn't!)
