Who would be intrested in a Remasterd widescreen version DVD of Excalibur ?

I know I sure would. Awesome movie. A new remasterd 5.1 widescreen version of this movie on DVD would be fantastic. I would buy this the moment that it would come out.

I'd get it as long as it also included the original mono soundtrack.

The current DVD is 16x9 and has 5.1 sound.

It's quite soft, though. It looks a lot like Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

ya, it's already anamorphic, dunno what more you could really expect. Great movie though

Not me! But, yes I would by a BluRay version of the movie the moment it came out!

That's what I heard. I purchased the curent disc just to have the film but, I'd get the corrected version in a heartbeat!
