What movie did Robby Benson play a Blind Guy?
What was that movie where Robby Benson played a blind guy? I seem to recall 2 specific scenes. One where his girlfriend is teaching him to drive. And another where a little girl he was babysitting falls into the pool while he's on the phone and he is desperalty searching for her in the pool. Keep in mind he is blind.
I checked his BIO in IMDB.com but I can't seem to find the movie I'm thinking of. I thought it would have been made in the 80's.
Please help.

I realize your are looking for RB being blind, but just wanna make sure you don't have some confusion or it might jog some other memory. The gal in Ice Castles that he was in went blind.

Well he used some speed in One on One when he played a college basketball player but he wasn't a junkie. I'm sure the movie I'm thinking of he played a blind guy.

Have you considered it isn't Robbie Benson you are thinking of, since it doesn't seem to be any of the movies in his bio?
Searching through the IMDB, I've found Butterflies Are Free and To Race the Wind as possible movies that you are thinking of.

Oh may God. I figured it out. The movie was "If You Could See What I Hear" starring Marc Singer. Here's a pic of him from IMDB. Of course he's a little older in the pic.
