Wow. So many to watch. I may do it later.

I expect they'll include all of these in the DVD kind of like the Starwars web documentaries.

A Sequel to Kong!
Source: KongIsKing.net April 1, 2005

Today, a very trim-looking Peter Jackson announced in his regular production diaries at KongIsKing.net that a sequel to King Kong is already well underway with all of the cast from the first film returning.

According to Jackson, they've had to keep the sequel a secret, but the plans quickly came together while shooting the movie when some money that Universal was going to use for a third Riddick movie became available. (Essentially, Vin's loss is our gain!) The sequel will shoot back-to-back with production of the first movie, which just finished principal photography, with Jack Black, Naomi Watts, and Adrien Brody all returning. Andy Serkis will once again be performing the motion capture to be used to create King Kong's kin.

You can hear Jackson and the cast talk about the sequel, as well as see some early footage and hear the ideas behind the sequel at the links below:

QuickTime, Lo-Res
QuickTime, Mid-Res
QuickTime, Hi-Res

Of course, this could be one of the most elaborate April Fools' pranks ever played, but surely, Peter Jackson wouldn't do something like that to all his fans, would he?

Either way, King Kong is opening on December 14.

Not the most elaborate, but definitely a joke.

First time I've seen PJ since the LOTR's DVD's. Holy crap, he's been on one hell of a diet!

Wouldn't it be kick ass if Jackson were to throw (the real) Godzilla in the sequel???

We have to plant the idea now before it's too late.

Regarding the Kong sequel - why even bother reading the news on April 1?

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=9038

The Hollywood Reporter announced today that sadly, the whole thing was just an elaborate joke done to coincide with April Fools' Day.
