A question about Music Clearances (r1 vs. anywhere else)

I'm wondering if some DVDs with music changes have the original music in other regions. I believe some music is handled by different publishing houses in europe than in north america. Is anyone aware of a region 2 release that has the original music whereas the region 1 release has had the music changed or vise-versa?

Please move this post if it is in the wrong forum, and I apologize if this has been brought up before (did a search for music clearance and music rights).

If I'm not mistaken the Dawson's Creek DVD's in Region 2 have the original music.

Yeah, this is a truly sucky practice. The latest example being the 3s set of Married With Children.

Yeah, generic music is so much better than the familiar "Love And Marriage" theme song..
