Ok. Went out for burgers with a friend after work, and he was telling me about a couple of shows he remembered from the 80's. I looked them up before and he said what found was wrong, so I told him I would ask here.

He says this was probably Saturday morning stuff. Kids in a high school, dressed gothically, like they may be 'dead' or something. He says the principal or one of the head teachers was black. I asked him if it was Gravedale High with Rick Moranis. He said it was not a cartoon.
