The Apprentice 3 - Series Premiere

OK, let's get the party started.

"Whopper 101"

- It's book smarts vs. street smarts in the third go-around of the popular reality show. 18 candidates are divided into different teams based on level of education.

The first task: work at Burger King.

Too soon. I needed time to forget how bad last season was.

I hate this format change. Go with what has worked in the past!

I have a feeling this season is going to suck because of it.

"Street smarts vs. Book smarts" (ie, no college education vs. college education), as opposed to the previous format of men vs. women. I agree, dumb idea.

I am trying to decide whether or not to watch as well. There was no doubt in my mind that I would not be watching AI this time, but Apprentice is a different story. I am going to PVR this episode and see how it plays out.

OK, Kristen was DEFINITELY on Murder in Small Town X back in 2001 on FOX. She has died her hair black. I remember she was a real beyatch! It will be interesting to see of she has changed any. Doubt it.

After last season's seven-hour finale episode.... yeah, don't think I'll bother this time around. Every show just seems to become more and more a showcase of Trump's ego.

Ehhh, definitely some annoying people. But I'll watch a little longer. Next week looks interesting.

Tana is definitely on my nerves already. I don't see her lasting long. I was surprised to see Todd go so quick. My initial impressions were that he was the Kelly of this season and that he'd go far. Ohh well...

I missed the complete first season of Apprentice so I can't compare to that one. So far it seems similar to season 2. I thought they should've waited longer to come back with it though.

I actually think this season's cast already seems more interesting than last season's bitchfest.

My husband said Danny looked like a skinny Michael Moore.

My boyfriend kept saying that Stim or whatever the fuck his name is (the guy with the awful greasy hair, southern accent and bow tie) looked like a country doctor circa 1883: "Now see here widow Jones, this here oil of sasparilla will get rid of your... consumption."

Street Smarts is going to win it. That's pretty much a given.

Anyone else get the urge to reach into the tv and bash Danny over the head with that guitar? In the boardroom, he came off (to me) as a 2nd-rate Tarantino - very manic.

I think the Burger King task was one geared toward the non-college team.

I had trouble sleeping last night - I was being chased by a red, polyester, leisure suit.

That promo that Danny devised in front of the Burger King was hysterically awful! I loved how Carolyn called it "horrific." It did look like he was a street performer/hippie loser who just happened to plop his gear down in front of a BK.

How many lawyers are on the show?

Dam

They have one Guido guy that reminds me of Chris from last season but this guy is smarter.

Danny looks like the teacher from Beavis and Butthead.

I am still trying to get to know these people and see if I feel comfortable with them.

It is almost like the first day of school when you have new classmates and it takes you a while to get aquainted.

If I were on that college team and Danny was trying to get to to scream INCREDIBLE and sing his BS songs about sticking together I would have popped him one.

The attorney with the long black hair looks like Ashlee Simpson. I wonder what's up with that pink wrap thing she was wearing?
