DVD Talk review of 'Hype!'
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Hype! at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=14068 and I really enjoyed it. I had never heard of the title nor would I have been particularly interested in it had I been aware of its existence. However, after reading your review, I am now interested in checking it out as it sounds like the kind of thing I would enjoy.
It's reviews (and reviewers) like this that give the review section its greatest value IMO. The only reason I clicked on the review in the first place was that I knew Adam wrote great reviews that were both entertaining and informative. On another site or with another reviewer, I probably don't even make the effort to click on the picture, let alone read the whole review.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that.
In conclusion, that is all.

Sometimes the Sundance Channel shows "Hype" from time to time. If you're really into Seattle and the grunge scene it's indispensable. If you're not you'll probably hate it.

Yeah, terrific review and terrific film. Doug Prey kicks butt. People who enjoy Hype! Should also watch Scratch, which I gave a Collector's Series review some time back. Another fabulous release.
