Hello Fellow XBoxer's

I know this may be a bit early but from what I've seen March looks to be one of the better months for new titles being released providing no set-backs. I know Halo 2 rules the roost on Live now but it looks like three games scheduled for March may start to spread the on-line play around. The question is my fellow gamemates is which is the most promising and anticipated especially for on-line gameplay?

Here's the three and your thoughts?

Doom 3

Unreal Tournament - The Liandri Conflict

Having been a UT fan for the last 4 years I can say this one looks to have a different mix of characters but retain the usual superb arena's of play. For me this one is a must.

Nothing that's a must buy for me, I'll probably check out Doom 3 sometime just due to all the hype. Probably just a rental though as I'm not big on FPS games.

For me, it'll be Republic Commando, but I am honestly more interested in single player for that right now. But, it the single player is no good and the multi is, I'll play.

I have both Star Wars Republic Commando and Doom 3 preordered. The demo for Republic Commando let me down a bit so I might end up moving the money from it to another game. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

As for Doom 3 I'm looking forward to it only if my one friend on XBOX Live gets it. I really want to play online co-op on this one and if he passes on getting it I'll pass as well.

I love FPS games so I'll probably just end up getting them. The only other games in the near future I have interest in would be Dead To Rights 2 and the new Rainbow Six game. No matter what I get I'll be shooting at something. I just glad Stranger is coming out soon because I'm really dying to play that one.

I'm excited about Doom 3. My computer stinks so I can't play it on my PC, so it'll be neat to finally give it a whirl.

Ditto for me.
When you can point and click with your mouse faster than your computer can load programs, then it's slow.

I have very high hopes for Close Combat, myself.

Then there's the baseballs, Splinter Cell at the back of the month, a Worms game, a Wrestlemania, to name a few... although a little heavy on FPS, that's still a decent variety of online games for just one month.

Not Live oriented, but I'm looking forward to Jade Empire in March (last I checked the date)

^Ditto. Jade Empire is the X-Box game I'm most looking forward to.

None of the above interest me. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Far Cry: Instincts, now those are the two March titles that I'm looking forward to. I've already got Doom 3 on PC, and while the graphics were great, I wasn't too impressed with the game, certainly not enough to pick up the xbox verson.

I'm looking forward to MVP and Farza Racing.

Doom 3 is nothing special, one of the biggest dissapointments last year for me, only games I think im getting is God of War and Mark of Kri 2 for ps2 and SC: Chaos Theory for PC, oh and I forgot about Time Splitters, hopefully that turns out good.

Feb ( is supposed to be an announcement about Halo 2.5 or something. Friend beat Halo 2 on legendary and showed me a screen that had febuary 9 2005 on it.

I haven't beat it on Legendary to see for myself. I hope it's for real. Alot of people say it's a myth.

Maybe we can get the "MythBusters" guys to find out for us.

EGM had an interview with Bungie and they denied the Feb. 9 rumor.

Jade Empire is probably my most awaited xbox game. Doom 3 I will get for the pc. Haven't heard anything about SW Republic Commando, but I don't have high expectations for any Star Wars game. Haven't heard anything about UT.

I know I have Doom 3:Collector's Edition and SW Republic Commando on preorder at GameRush with trade-in deals. I'm a bit hesitant about both, but both sound good. RC sound like a Rainbow Six 3 clone though

i have some interest in getting Doom 3 Collector's Edition. I will wait on the reviews for SW:RC.
