Has anyone heard if anymore of Jack Lemmon's old movies were going to be released on dvd?I know some of his are out like Mister Roberts and The Apartment. But a couple I'm looking for is Under the Yum Yum Tree, Good Neighbor Sam and a few more.

Save the Tiger was supposed to be coming out on DVD in March from Paramount, but it may be delayed.

IT SHOULD HAPPEN TO YOU starring Judy Holiday was Jack Lemmon's first movie - great fun. It's out on Columbia/Tristar with a fairly hefty price tag for a barebones catalog title, but can be had has an enrollment title at CH.

He hated both those movies with intense passion. I wouldn't be surprised if he bought the rights and burned the prints, that's how much he hated them.
I have Good Neighbor Sam on VHS through some public domain company. TCM used to run Yum Yum Tree from time to time, which is how I snagged my copy of that one.
I doubt either will make their way to DVD anytime soon, if ever.

There is a Columbia pre-record of GOOD NEIGHBOR SAM out there. Encore was showing it a few years ago with digital picture/audio probably as good as anything Sony would toss out. UNDER THE YUM YUM TREE has always been the harder to get. Lemmon does hate them both. I think Good Neighbor Sam is pretty good, a lot better than IRMA LA DOUCE or THE NOTORIOUS LANDLADY. A month or so back TCM aired PHFFFT which has never been available either.

I think "The Apartment" Deserves a Special Edition DVD.
