Taxi Driver CE

Haha.
My disc claims the runtime for the film is 135 mins.
However, on the case, it says 114 mins. (which is right.)

Anyone else have a mis-printed runtime disc?

Couldn't you put it in your DVD player and look at the time remaining at the start of the film?

It's up to the studio that controls it. The titles you mentioned are owned by either Warner or MGM; Columbia/Sony owns TD.

Considering that the MSRP on this title is $15 bucks (which means it's probably being sold for less) and the picture and sound are as good as they're likely to ever be, I am content with the current release. The only thing to sweeten the deal would be a commentary.

Yeah, at the time the CE DVD came out Criterion refused to sell commentaries, so it was kept off the disc. Now, Criterion has changed their tune and sold a couple commentaries.
