Feel kinda sorry for you that your post didn't get any responses.
I don't have any info, but I'll say that I would be interested in seeing this series released. How many seasons were there? I was quite into it when it was on TV. The series finale was something else, wasn't it?
One reason I may have found it interesting is I was really, really into Knight Rider, and I kept hearing KITT's voice coming out of that funny looking man....

I believe this is owned by FOX. I'd hazard a guess that FOX is viewing this series the same way that they are looking at "Hill Street Blues". That the series has no audience or monetary value. These are the ONLY two series I really want & it burns my butt to no end that worthless TV series being put out while these 2 remain locked away for perhaps forevermore.

I never had an interest in Hill Street Blues, but that said, what could possibly lead Fox to believe that neither of these shows would have a DVD audience??? They had an audience before. People still love hospital/cop/court dramas. Nostalgia is a strong factor. They were big, well known shows in their day. I just can't fathom why Fox execs would believe these shows wouldn't sell.

Absolutely!!...my most wanted DVD release....period!!
Still, i never thought 'Miami Vice' with all the music rights issues would see the light of day...so i live in hope!
