Resident Evil 4 Intro movie is up for download!
Here is the 5 min 19 sec Intro movie for Resident Evil 4:

I noticed at the end of the video clip there is a codec call between Leon and some girl. I hope this game doesn't turn out like Metal Gear Solid with a codec call every 5 seconds.

looks pretty sweet... I'm still cheezed that this series is exclusive to GCN. Also - this game has alot of similarities to Metal Gear - hope they go back to the old school way again in future titles.

It'll be on PS2 fourth quarter of 2005 if you don't have a gamecube. And, as far as I've seen, this game doesn't really have much in the way of stealth game play. Not really seeing the Metal Gear similarities myself.

Not so much the stealth aspect, but the radio communication screen in the video - also, the over-the-shoulder view. Guess that's not really like metal gear. Nevermind. Won't it look like arse on the PS2 compared to the GCN?

Well, that was disappointing. Let's recap:
Blocky models circa 2001
Complete teaser trailer - no action of any kind
Cliche plot (I think the "rescue the president's daughter" video theme is circa Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja)
Voiceovers that completely do not fit the characters or sync with their mouths
That's too bad; based on previous screenshots, the atmosphere and graphics engine are quite appealing. Still has a chance, but its appeal has dropped considerably in my book...
