the latest 3-disc box set does not have the 1998 movie. it has Son of Godzilla, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS in it. Bases on dvdaf's compare price function, it is cheapest at overstock.com.

A "whole set" of Godzilla DVDs would be 28 films spanning 1954-2004. The only way to acquire it is the Japan-only release called "Godzilla Final Box". Given the fact its Japanese language only and costs about $750 you might think twice.
If you want box sets with a few films in each with English included, here's a few to look at:

They are of varying degrees of quality, so do your research first.

P.S. Here's a checklist of what's out there for region 1 DVD users:

I soooo want the Godzilla Final Box set. I saw a sample display version of the set at HMV in Shibuya, Japan and believe me, the price is worth it. The included Godzilla head alone is absolutely huge. I'm still half thinking about getting it. I could always add English subs myself for probably most of the films anyway. Oh god, someone please talk me out of it.
