If you're refering to the 9:30 EST episode:
Hank told the old woman she could die in his house, begrudingly. She tried to die, but put off by everyone staring at her during the party, she decides to "come back and die some other time." Hank says that's okay and offers for her to come over sometime for a non-death related issue. She accepts, stays at the party and Hank gives her the present he bought in case his boss came over.
I think that was the ending, I'm not quite sure. Either way, it was really lackluster.

I still love the show, but fox should wait and give it a sping/summer run instead of a constantly prempted by football, fall run.
I thought this episode was pretty humourous. Anyway this episode ended with, the old lady faked a obituary and then snuck into their christmas party, where Hank was about to throw her out again. But everybody got on to hank, so he decided to let her die in the house. So She is sitting in the chair mentally trying to kill herself, while everybody is creeped out. She sees that and changes her mind. Hank tells her that she can visit if she wants, and everybody is happy.

People who trash King of the Hill are usually people who see a promo here and there and dismiss it as a "redneck cartoon" without actually getting into it and realizing what great characters and writing it has.

"Why die here, you ask? Well, you'd be getting in on the ground floor of a wonderful investment opportunity and all you'll really have to do is make two appearances a day from the afterlife via this old antique mirror. It's not hard work but I do expect quality. Are there any questions?"
