Speedlink Medusa 5.1 Surround headphones -- anyone tried them?

http://www.medusa-usa.com/details.htm

I've been reading a few reviews of these and from what I've seen and heard, these would be perfect for me -- in the barracks, dorm, etc. The thing is, I'm wondering how I could get them hooked up properly. Looking at the cabling diagrams there, I have an inkling and I was wondering if I listed my equipment if someone might know how to set it up. Also, has anyone here tried them yet -- nothing came up in a search.

I have a Sanyo 22" with component inputs and S-video inputs. I have a Philips DVD player -- the model escapes me at the moment which is region free and also has component inputs. I'm currently just using the component inputs for my Xbox, and the standard AV inputs for the DVD player, but I don't mind switching cables when the need arises.

If I don't have an independent decoder, would I be able to just plug the video inputs of the xbox/dvd player into the tv and the audio outputs from the dvd player/xbox into the headphone cables or does it work in a different way?

thanks.

These headphones require analog 5.1 preouts which are not common on lower end DVD players. These seem geared directly to PC gamers (with the mic). Here is a link to a good picture of what 5.1Ch outputs look like Linky look at the second picture down.
