I just can't stress enough how much I love the Denny Crane and Alan Shore characters...they are my guilty pleasures.
It just doesn't get old..when Shatner states "Denny Crane" at just the right moments.

Didn't really care about Brad and Lori's case. There could've been more Shore & Denny.
Also, there wasn't enough collagen in this episode for me..

Definitely the best ep of the series so far.
Shatner was fall on the floor hilarious. And Shore playing off of him was perfect.
Really liked the Shore/Tara sequence after Denny came to the rescue.

I was cracking up all through the non-Brad/Lori segments. But at least they gave Brad some lawyering to do in this episode. I think the wife did pump those rounds in her hubby and mistress, though.
Tara be one naughty gal, Alan be one lucky sumbitch. Nice mistletoe "halo" on Alan.
Denny was killing me with his marine resume. "Pull!" Hahaha!
Even the final shot of Denny and Alan seated just inside of the balcony (since it was too cold) was funny.

Great episode last night. Like everyone said, this episode was all about Denny and Alan. Although, I liked the mistletoe sequence at the beginning and Alan's overkill of the mistletoe in his office.

Abso-fucking-lutely!!! What a great episode. I loved the murder case too - very good strategy. The show is so over the top, but that is what makes it great.

I watched this for the first time Sunday night and I enjoyed it. I also like the characters of Denny Crane and Alan Shore. I hope the last season of the practice and season 1 of Boston Legal will be released on dvd so I can catch up.

I loved last week's episode.
But, when is the next episode gonna air? I thought it was tonight but instead they're giving Desperate Houswives when Boston Legal should be on and right now they're giving Extreme Makeover. What gives?

I think the next new episode for "BL" is on 1/9 ("Schmidt Happens"). Same night for the next new "Housewives". I guess no one wants to "waste" new episodes when the viewing audience is busy with other holiday things. . .

Why do people expect new programming during the holidays? Most shows have to spread out 22 episodes over 8-9 months, that's 32-36 weeks, so there will be weeks were re-runs rule the roost during the non-sweeps months (with November, February, and May being the sweeps months).

Agreed. This is the way it has been as long as I can remember. Plus it is nice to have the respite - chance for DVR owners to play catchup.

No kidding. I've had Trek TOS S2 sitting on my shelf for almost 2 months and hadn't had a chance to watch any of it. Finally watched 3 episodes last night.

You should. The last 2 story arcs are far far better than the first 3 seasons.
