Apex DRX9200 DVD Recorder $99.97 deal at Meijr
Meijr has an Apex Progressive Scan DVD Recorder # DRX9200 for $99.97 after $50 Mfrd's Mail-In Rebate. So thats $149.97 sale price.
For those with experience with this recorder or brand, how good is this recorder/ brand?
And how does it compare with the ILO that Wal-Mart is selling for about the same price?
And is there any DVD Media compatibility issues with either recorder? In other words, does it have trouble recording to a certain brand DVD disc?

My stepfather just got a standalone dvd recorder from Gateway for $149. That is without a rebate, but may be worth the extra $50, for peace of mind, having a "name brand". It has done a very good job so far. It records in the +R format, but plays back both +/- R's. Check their web site. That's where he ordered it from.
