Situating a Widescreen
I need to situate a 50" widescreen in the corner of my family room. The caveat is that it must be protected from my 2 year old's wrath. Having the screen within his reach without some sort of protection is unacceptable. I have scoured the web for a corner cabinet/center made for widescreen TV's that features some sort of doors (glass or otherwise), but I've come up empty.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Short of the DIY route, you may have a tough time finding a corner closeable entertainment center. The closest thing I've found to a closable entertainment center for a big screen is from Hooker Furniture. Although the units are very nice, they are a bit pricey IIRC. Plus, it's not a corner unit.

LOL Thanks for the replies, guys
I caved last night and just decided that I would rearrange the entire family room so that I can put the TV against a full wall. The wife is pissed, but now I have cabinet options.
It's much easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.
MWAHAHAHA!
