Well, that certainly wasn't over the top.
That flag burning bit is probably my favorite from Penn & Teller's act. Although they tried to capture the spirit of it with this episode, it's nowhere near as effective as the way they present it themselves. Typically, once it hits TV, it's gone from the stage show. I hope that's not the case with this one.

Yeah, having the MS hit him hard now just makes it seem like they've run out of ideas.
Starting to feel sorry for Josh, though it's obvious they're setting him up to

I don't know that going back to the MS makes it seem like the writers have run out of ideas (though I agree they probably have). Sorkin put the disease out there and it would seem odd after all they put into it to just have it disappear. I'll wait and see what happens before I continue to berate the writers but overall it was a decent episode.

Not a terrible episode, but the final scene had John Wells written all over it. Still, it's been a decent run of episodes lately, and the whole backstory with Josh and the other potential nominees has been well done so far.

I have a feeling that the
is just one of those crazy scientist stories that they bring in every once in a while. I don't see how they could realistically work that in to the plot.

I hope so, but why put it in the previews if it is?

i just caught up on the last three weeks and this one was better than the previous two. josh has always been my favorite character and i hope that with the new direction that they seem to be taking him in serves the character well. it has seemed like it's "pick on josh" time again like it was last season and that bothers me.
i actually thought that the ms thing wasn't bad. i think that it's better to use than to ignore after all of the struggles they had with revealing it in the first placce.
one more thing. has anyone else noticed that in the quick "cast in the oval ofice" promo shots, that richard schiff is missing? that makes me wonder about what his future is, especially seeing the direction his character is taking this year.
