Whatever happened to Almodovar's "Paperboy"?

I remember a couple of years ago that Pedro Almodovar was working on his first English language movie, either "Paperboy" or "The Paperboy". He put it aside and insted did the Spanish language film "Habla con Ella" (which is a great film).

Now I see that he is working on "The Secret Life of Words", which I guess will now be his first English language film.

Any idea on what happened with Paperboy?

Nevermind, found it. He has dropped out of the project.

Turns out that it wasn't his story, he had just signed on to do it, then backed out for whatever reason. Now, two or three years later, they are still looking for a director.

But I am looking forward to "The Secret Life of Words", I haven't seen an Almodovar movie that I haven't liked, and I've seen 6 or 7.
