Back on topic.

I'm not a professional web programmer. But I have built websites and taught myself a lot of things. I'm working a lot with php and mysql now in the web world.

Problem with creating another site is that Dvdtalk clan members probably will not go.

Just look at the Dvdtalk/bungie clan site not much going on over there. Since most of the people in the Dvdtalk clan are casual gamers, they find it much easier to check one site for all of their videogame/clan info.

The people that have been at DVD Talk for awhile probably aren't going to visit another site. The newer members might though.

This was a similar issue with Smallball. I don't think the outside forum was used much.

it was just an idea to let everyone know that we our out there and give some sort of public place just for the clan. i've seen a lot of other clans do this and i just thought it was a good idea. just a place for people who want to know more about us, what dvd talk is, if we want new members, if any members are helping or holding local area LAN gigs etc that kinda stuff.

if the clan isn't intrested that is cool i just thought it might be something else cool to do for us, beside me dying all the time in the matches

no the "I eat n00bs" is a really cool shirt that Jinx hackware has. every gamer should have one. beside that it sounds intimidating.
