Did anyone pick up Sonic Mega Collection Plus for XBOX?

It seems like a real deal. I liked Sonic back in the days of Sega Genesis. It's only $20 but I'm sure some of you can find a better deal on it.

check it out

Sonic Mega Collection PLUS includes:

Seven of the most-loved Sonic games of all time:
Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Sonic The Hedgehog 3

Sonic & Knuckles

Sonic 3D Blast

Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

plus three Sonic lock-on games (from Sonic & Knuckles)

Six Sega Game Gear games:
Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic Chaos

Sonic Drift

Sonic Labyrinth

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Sonic Blast

Unlockable Sega Genesis games:
The Ooze

Comix Zone

Flicky

Ristar

I picked it up for the ps2... The screen is cropped!!!!! I don't understand this as the originals did not have cropped views! Also, there is a glitchy row of graphics on the bottom of the screen during games!

I used to love sega, but it seems they're milking dead cows. They need to get back to what made them great.

Ditto for the Xbox version. I haven't played the GC one in some time, but I don't recall it being boxed in. The interface is nicer, though.

Sega's been putting out Sonic compilations since the Genesis and they still haven't gotten it down pat. Maybe the next generation of consoles. By then they'll be able to add the Adventure titles to the collection.

Kind of reminds me of when an artist or band puts out a a greatest hits CD and they leave off that one song you like or they put a live version of one of their popular songs instead of the original studio recording. Oh well.

I have it... the Genesis games are generally good, but the GG games look awful. They don't translate well to a big screen. Still worth the $20 though.

The screen is cropped, but only very slightly- it reallt shouldn't be an issue.

It's definitely worth the $20.

The GG games look pretty good considering what they were originally at.

I bought this game a few weeks ago and I think it's a really good deal for $20. Also, it seems that none of you are aware of this, but you can get rid of the cropping and make it full-screen if you click in the right analog stick (at least on the xbox). I'd recommend it if you're a fan of the Sonic games. Also, I haven't noticed any glitches with graphics.

I would have bought it but I don't like Sonic. If it was Mega Men than I would get it in a heart beat.

You see, I've been waiting patiently to buy a Sonic mega collection. But they NEVER include Sonic CD. And that's what I want the most, as I used to love that game and I have no desire to hook up my dusty Sega CD that prolly don't work to play it. Anyone know why that game is never included? it's like...the best.

Thats a damn good question. Was someone beside Sega responsible for publishing it? I know it sounds weird, but weirder things have happened...

Nope. They're just not including it.

You can get it for PC for like $4 though.

If you have the original CD, you can play it using the GENS emulator. That's my work around for now.

Yes, you can save at any point, like playing it on an emulator, and pick up right where you left off
