Fry's Ad 11/26 - Black Friday

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all four (DFW, LA, SJ, and WA) ads.

The items listed below are from the Thanksgiving ad and represent a sample of the sale tomorrow. The main ad will appear tomorrow morning. However, as I will be getting up to go to the store early...I doubt I will be able to update the listings until I get back.

Note: Fry's is closed on Thanksgiving and will reopen at 6 AM Friday for their Black Friday sale.

UPDATED using OC Register ad.

I'm off to go myself, so I won't have to localize it for the other ads.

There's definitely some kick ass items...get yourself in line!

Just got back...spent way too much money.

Also: Half-Life 2 was selling for $34.99 at my Fry's instead of the advertised $37.99.

I've updated the localized versions as well.

P.S. - I probably will not be able to post tomorrow's or Sunday's ad until Sunday night.

Just a heads up.... I don't know about the rest of you, but I was only able to find the Harry Potter set in full screen. Maybe others can confirm this?

Did you try to get a raincheck? Unless it specifically says no rainchecks in the ad, it should be easy to get one. The dvd I want is almost always out of stock when I go. I usually just get the raincheck and come back 2-3 weeks later.

They usually carry more fullscreen than widescreen. I found that my Fry's usually keeps the overstocks underneath the music section, so I usually go hunting back there if I can't find it on the floor. During one of the Matrix sales, I showed the clerk where they had them.
