I want one... but since it doesn't allow for the voice communicator, you're gonna have to be rambo.

yes, i have it. i don't like it.

mainly b/c the mouse sensitivity sucks so bad. that is, in order to do a 360, i need to pick up the mouse several times... it doesn't like USB mice (w/ the adapter).

if you don't have to do a lot of 360's or fast turns, it works fine. it got me thru Halo. but, for Halo 2 campaign, i ended up using the gamepad.

other than that, it worked fine.

btw, i don't care if people don't like others using it for multiplayer.

Trigger, it has a memory card slot on top for the voice communicator. since i already had an extension cord for the gamepad, i just used it so that the adapter would be closer. works fine.

Hmm... so you can't adjust the shit so it moves faster with the mouse? Like, go into the options for most FPS games and you can adjust how fast the x-axis moves (for the right thumbstick) and then it translates to the mouse?

wait, i didn't think of that.

you mean, change the controller setting in the game settings? i was really looking at it from the hardware point of view (b/c it is programmable).

ok, i'll give it another chance after i experiment w/ it a little further.

I have one and works Like a charm on Halo 2.

The SENSITIVITY is limited to what the programers have done with the game. So for Halo 2 set it to Level 10 sensitivity.

Also there is adjusments for deadzone on the adaptor to help change settings to your preference.

By far the best $28.00 investment. Makes Counterstrike Bearable now (be sure to toggle quick look on for that one)

And Halo2 Is Awesome with it. Only difficulty is using vehicles. So I set up my F2 key to be the same as my F1 (Halo2 settings) but change the deadzone. So when I hop into a vehicle hit f2 on the fly and I'm set!

can you explain the deadzone to me? what settings are you using?

how are you handling the Y button - for dual weapons?

I'd set it to "G" since that's a typical setting for many shooters for dropping weapons and crap.

In the manual it explains Deadzone. Basically has to do with the amount of push you are doing on the analog stick this is mimicking it for your mouse. I have mine set for 34 for halo2 and then have my "F2" setup set to 50 for vehicle use.

The 50 means I can move my mouse distance the same as I was for the 34 setting but the game thinks I'm cranking harder on the analog stick.

I programmed my y button to be the Q key on my keyboard. that way if I switch weapons I just press quickly (same as in CounterStrike for me) And to Duel Wield you HOLD DOWN Q while Running over the weapon. I find it works well! My X button is the R key for reload.

Ok heres the complete set up:

Right Trigger = left mouse button = Fire Right weapon
Left Trigger = right mouse button = Fire left weapon or throw grenade
A button = Space bar = Jump
X button = R key = reload and hold to pick up weapon
B button = Side Mouse thumb button = Melee attack
Y button = Q key = switch weapon and hold for Dual Wield
Left stick = WASD keys = movement
Right stick = Mouse = Look view set deadzone to 34
Left stick click = Ctrl key = crouch (useful for sneaking in to grab flag)
Right stick click = mouse wheel up/down = Zoom function
White button = F key = Flashlight or Talk to team
Black button = G key = Grenade switch

And this setup is tied into my F1 key. my F2 key is identical except for Deadzone settings.

Have Fun!!!!
