Raiders of the Ark music question
Please help me settle a dispute about the music in Raiders. In the first few minutes of the movie when the unnamed villain pulls out his gun is there or is there not a low drum roll or horns playing in the background before Indy's whip comes out? Thanks.

You're both wrong. He isn't unnamed. His name is "Barranca" 
As for the music in this scene, there is only music being played by the strings, to build suspense. You can hear it on the CD at the 2:55 mark into track 2.
