4:3 DVDs with anamorphic menus?
Just watched Foreign Correspondent the other day...I noticed that even though the movie is 4:3, the menus are anamorphic. I noticed the same thing on Dallas S1 and 2. Whats the need for an anamorphic menu if youre watching in 4:3? Or are there DVD players that pillarbox 4:3 material on widescreen TVs? Yeah its not really a big deal, I just think its kinda weird.

Almost all of WB's dvds of older films that are in 4:3 have menus in anamorphic widescreen.
Also most of Fox's tv shows that are 4:3 alos have widescreen menus. Yes, weird
