LOTR:Fellowship of The Ring Boxset
I am having trouble with this box set. The dvds are all perfect and not suffering from scratches or anything. I have a new dvd player and it will not read any of the disk from the set. It will read the disks from LOTR: The Two Towers set. Has anyone else had this problem? or something similar? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

rasputindog.. there's 2 other possibilities why your set may not work on your dvd player.
1. The store you bought it from had a set that you bought that is not Region 1 and therefore, does not work on your dvd player. The store may not be aware that they had this set for sale because some idiot returned/exchanged a different set with a region 1 which they wanted.
2. The set you bought is a poorly copied version of the original Region 1 set. Again the store may not realize that they have a fake one. How did the store get such a copy? An a**hole returns a fake copy of all the discs completely resealed.
BTW, Ebay is now full of scammers who sell fake sealed dvds with fake seal stickers.
MPAA should take harder action on bootlegs and fake copies more than ever now or the normal businesses like BestBuy, Walmart, and so on will be flooded with fake copies no one can distinguish until someone actually play one of these dvds on their player. By then, it'll be too late to return or get your refund.
