BUY Babylon 5:Crusade (formerly Boycott)

This is a Plea to BOYCOTT BUY Babylon V: Crusade...

.......unless you can think of a better Idea to get the #$%*)#*$)^*UI#@$%@#% at Sci Fi Channel or whomever to reinstitute the show. Ok, so a better idea has come up in responses. BUY ALL THE COPIES. Let them know we want the show. Even if you want Space Above and beyond, buy Crusade. Maybe SAAB will be next. I am referring, of course, to the soon to be released "series" DVD Set.

It joined the ranks of Space Above and Beyond, Farscape (though they finally did a 4 hour conslusion of the series recently), and The Rangers (another Bab V spinoff), that had the potential to be Sci-Fi Greats, but were killed in long before their time. Heck, I'd guess the Rangers died because nobody trusted them to actually continue the series till it got interesting. Crusade was great when they killed it. I even heard rumors that it was killed because JMS wouldn't let the Lady Thief become the crew SL-T.

Any thoughts?!?

So you're boycotting the DVD to convince them to bring the show back? Square peg, meet round hole.

I understand that it may be weird to boycott a DVD To ENCOURAGE them to bring back a show, but I can't see paying the jerks that canceled it for copies of it. That is why I said "Maybe".

You seem confused about who those "jerks" are.

Warner Home Video? JMS? The Sci-Fi Channel? The Department of Homeland Security?

The show aired on TNT and they're the ones who cancelled it. Boycotting the show doesn't hurt them. And it certainly doesn't send any sort of message that you want the show to come back.

Exactly, all this "boycott" does is justify the network's decision to cancel the series, because clearly no one is interested in watching or buying it.

I just wished they had wrapped it up (Space Above and Beyond... well Crusade too I guess, but between the two I liked Space better). Regarding Crusade I had already planned on boycotting it (atleast not buying it, it's in my Netflix queue ) but that's more because I didn't think it was that great of a series than in an effort to bring it back.

Space above and Beyond also could have had a crew-slut, but I dont think they took her in that direction - did they? never watched - just a couple of eps.

Crusade's theif chick would have made a great crew slut...the show however, made a limp mess out of the B5 hard-on.

Well, I hated it (despite never having seen it). I am therefore buying nine copies.

Well, maybe someone should start a "bring back SAAB" thread or webpage, as "Save Farcape" page sorta worked....

Also, I changed my mind, joined the masses, and ordered my Crusade set....

....In the memory of Excalabre (sp?)
