The Batman 11/13 - The Big Heat

New Batman villain - Firefly

Adam West as Mayor Grange.

Nice to see Bruce really care about his philanthropic duties. Shows a human side to him other than being a playboy billionaire.

Adam West kept confusing me because I'm used to him being the mayor in Family Guy.

Adam West's voice coming out of that character was very odd.

Was Firefly's voice James Marsden? That's who it sounded like anyway.

I really enjoy this show, and I'm not a big Batman guy. It's a nice change from JLU which is (1) never new and (2) often sucks.

No, Firefly was voiced by Jason Marsden, a prolific voice actor who has no relation to James.

I'm very mixed on the show. Sometimes I see something kinda cool (like the depiction of Thomas and Martha's deaths, and the 'year one' aspects), but more often things really bother me like changing charactors' backgrounds and the who ultra modern feel. Its also a little too kid friendly (please give the cops real guns). Give me Batman The Animated Series anyday.

Finally a decent episode of The Batman.

Like the design of Firefly. Alot different then the one he wears in the comics and on B:TAS.
Also the buzz he emitted while flying was cool.
Good Bruce Wayne scenes.
Nice to hear Adam West. Been years since I have seen/heard him in any thing.
