Castle In The Sky released in 2003 Region 2

Where ever I look this dvd seems to be out of print.. or out of stock* Be it online or in shops here in the U.K

Anyone know why this is and I'd be real gratefull if you guys could let me know where I can pick up a copy (region 2 only)

I've been searching for this dvd for like two weeks ...

The last time I checked Amazon.co.uk was over a week ago..

At that time there was only one being sold at £40:00 ....

I'm glad the've updated with more suppliers of that dvd....

The UK R2 differs from the US R1 release by having only dubtitles.
Subtitles on the US release arent perfect either, though.
Minor problems with the sync and subtitles are located way too high in the picture when using anamorphic picture.

Only releases with almost perfect subtitles are the Japanese R2 and the R3 releases.
Those however wont have the new english dub, japanese version has the older dub and R3 relases none whatsoever.
Picture quality on the R2 Japanese and at least the R3 Korean relase is identical and a way lot superiour when compared to the R1.

Yeah, the R1 looked like crap on my 51 inch 16:9 set. I had to watch it on my 30 inch 4:3 set to be able to sit through it.
