eh. the transporter is becoming a bit too advanced for this time period. catching someone like that is something they rarely risk in the TNG era
wonder if that's the same briar patch form Insurection?

Boo. Nothing against the episode...I was just hoping my brother would have more scenes. He was in the last three episodes. Last week he got shot by scott bakula. He played an Augment that looks very similar to the main Augment in the series.
Honestly...I've never really watched Star Trek. The plot line in this series seems kind of cool though. I'll give it a few more weeks.

actually, with no preconceived notions of continuity Enterprise isn't a bad start, especially now that it looks like they're back on the right track

enterprise: 2150's, I think they said May 2153 today
tos 2260's
tos movies: late 2270's-early 2290's or so
tng/ds9/voy went into the 2370's

Not a bad ending to the trilogy. Brent Spiner's character got some of the snarkiness back that he lost in the second episode. The Vulcan trilogy starts next week and I'm kinda anticipating that. I think the new staff deserves medals for starting to turn this series around.

Ok, I'm forgetting some of my TNG back history here.
Is Brent Spiner's character in this show the man who goes on to ultimately invent Data (and his evil brother)?
Is that what the end was supposed to be about?

spiner's character is the grand-father or the great grandfather of the inventor of data.
kudos to the wroters for finally allowing the enterprise to win a space battle

I'm still in shock from the change, but if I'm reading these new emotions correctly, I believe I really liked this ep. It's nice to see characters surviving without technobabble again. Archer creatively gets off the station (even if the transporters probably shouldn't be that good yet), then they get past the first Klingons on their wits, and they get past the second Klingons with a nice grappling hook maneuver. It was a little overly self-referencial, especially at the end with the cybornetics stuff, but I can let all that slide in favor of episodes that don't suck.

I am really finding myself enjoying this newly revamped Enterprise.
Why oh why did it take so long to start realizing the potential of this series?
I am looking forward to the next trilogy.
