Will FOX re-release the Xfiles boxsets?

Ok, I look at both of these links and I see that over in the UK, FOX is kicking ass when it comes to TV on DVD.
Do you think there's any chance of FOX in the US re-releasing the sets for what roughly seems to be 50 bucks a pop? I know there was a recent price drop but these have also been repackaged in what I'm guessing are slimline cases similar to the Roswell and Millenium sets.
Well?

I don't know, but we can hope...
Generally, Fox releases things in the UK about six months before they release it in the US, like Buffy, Angel, and Millennium.
There are some exceptions, though, like the "Best of _____" Buffy sets, and the single OMWF DVD, which didn't receive US releases at all.

Yeah, plus the final Angel will be the first of the Buffyverse sets to be released over there AFTER we get it.
The R1 & R2 packaging tends to be different, so I don't expect any repackaging. I'm personally hoping for a big price drop (though didn't the X-Files sets already get one?)

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
They need to drop the price first before a re-release. They are about $70 a season and that is the new price after they used to be $120. I think a lot more people would buy all of them if they dropped the price a lot more.

You make yourself crazy waiting for stuff like that. If you want something, buy it new or used, and don't look back.

Well, they have been re-release here in the UK, they have slightly smaller packaging and the covers are different but the extras are the same.
They are now called digipaks are going for about £35, but Play.com do them for £26.99 with free delivery.
If you like Millenium they do the 3 season boxset for about £68, I have that set and its very nice.
