I found that this can actually be used with their free shipping promotion, and if you use it to get Shrek 2, you save an additional $1.24. Some further deals can be found here:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=390293

What I did was to to order Shrek 2 ($19.99 - $10.00 rebate if ordered with one other title (8 listed)), Sinbad ($9.99) and Chronicles of Riddick ($19.99 - $7.00 rebate). So:
$19.99 Shrek 2
$9.99 Sinbad
$19.99 Riddick
---------
49.97
+4.46 Shipping
+3.06 Tax
---------
$57.49
-4.46 Shipping
-1.24 Shrek 2 Shipping (BONUS DISCOUNT)
-$5.00 coupon
-$10.00 Shrek Rebate
-$7.00 Riddick Rebate
---------
$29.79 when it's all said and done, or $9.93 ea.

So, if you don't mind rebates, which FYE has been very good on, you could work out some nice deals.

Also, they have Gone With the Wind for $29.99 - $5.00 rebate. Add another (rebate) title to take it up to $49 for free shipping and use the $5.00 coupon, and you come out as low as $19.99 + tax for GWTW.

I'm glad I've waited one more day to order the Shrek DVD gift set. After applying the coupon and selecting free budget shipping, the total cost has brought down to less than $18 after $20 mail-in rebate and postage.

Thanks for the coupon. I ordered the Shrek giftset and my final total is $14.99 after the $20 MIR since there's no sale tax in Oregon

Also great on Seinfeld

I opened two accounts and purchased each season set across the two accounts. Here's the breakdown:

+32.99 Seinfeld: Seasons 1 & 2
-5.00
+0.00 budget shipping
+2.31 tax (Austin, TX)
-10.00 mail-in rebate
$20.30 TOTAL

Multiply this times two to get the season three set and add 37-cent postage for the mail-in rebate and the net cost for all seasons is $40.97 (for me).

I previously had the Seinfeld Gift Set on order at Best Buy. For all intents and purposes, that was going to cost me $59.19 (if you subtract the $25 digital coupon they will eventually give you.) Who needs that extra stuff? I decided I don't.

Nice deal. I ordered the Shrek boxset (I'll just give the full frame DVDs to some friends of mine, as I already have the widescreen copies), and I got the new U2 cd. I don't know how it worked out, but I got all of it for only $40. They took off more shipping discounts than they would have charged, and it was still free shipping. So, when all is said done, I got the Shrek box set and the new U2 CD for a total of $17.00 (minusing the rebates).

You don't have to create an account in order to place an order. I just placed an order without creating an account, and I'm able to status check my order using the order #.

Rebates

I know that I can avoid cutting up the boxes for UPC rebate requirements when I purchase from the store.

How do you guys feel about cutting up the boxes for the benefit of an additional $5 coupon online?

If you are referring to the Shrek gift set, the box itself has no UPC. The UPC is a sticker on the shrinkwrap.

Btw, the Shrek gift set is $49.99 - $20 MIR at FYE B&M.

I decided to jump in on the Shrek Story So Far boxset cuz it's $39.99 + Tax - $20 MIR. I'm gonna sell off the Full Frame Shrek & Shrek 2.

I'm also gonna do what lumberjack did and order Seinfeld Season 1&2 & Seinfeld Season 3 cuz they'll come out to slightly over $40 after MIR for both sets.

This coupon ends at 3 AM PST so roughly 3 more hours.

Both Seinfeld's shipped today. Here's hoping they arrive before Thanksgiving. Now I'll stop by my local FYE on Tuesday and ask them to print out a couple of UPC stickers so I won't have to butcher my boxes.
