What's up with Jude Law?

How is it possible that one man can have so many movies come out in such a short time?

Sep 17: Sky Captain and the World Of Tomorrow
Oct 1: I Heart Huckabees
Nov 5: Alfie
Dec 3: Closer
Dec 17: The Aviator
Dec 17: Lemony Snicket

Perhaps it's either talent or a pretty face?

None of these movies are on DVD yet, so...

Well, ya know.

He's been working non-stop for last two years and now they're being released is all.

His roles in the last two aren't even all that big, are they?

Supporting performances do not take all that long to film.

Oh, but they can... especially if there's reshoots.

Not every supporting role is a Phillip Seymour Hoffman four-day affair.

From the previews, it doesn't look like Jude Law has a very large role in Lemony Snicket. He seems to be just the primary voiceover man, which can be easily schedule in between films.

I would never complain about seeing too much of Jude.
Could be he is working a lot after his divorce as to keep his mind busy?

Yeah, that's great. But Law's work in LEMONY SNICKET and AVIATOR took mere days. And the SKY CAPTAIN took about a month to shoot.

I never said that Law took a very long time to play those particular roles, now did I?

All varied times. It just so happens that the release dates were so close. Sky Captain was bumped from the early year to now.

Yeah, that was a too funny of an excuse from Paramount about the lackluster performance of Alfie.

So far with ALFIE, every one of his movies have bombed.
What if the rest bomb, will his career be over?

Sky Captain didn't bomb and I'm positive that Closer and Lemony Snicket won't either. As for Aviator? It will probably make Gangs of New York ish money
