Best Buy $1 Horror DVDs/free with Best Buy Bucks!
There is a similar thread for Target, but the titles were slightly different, and you can use Best Buy bucks to pay for them. I used 4 and got 4 titles and paid nothing in cash...
I saw 8 titles in brown cardboard packaging in a free standing display near the cash registers in the store. I didn't see them in the regular DVD area(though they might be there) look for a free standing display.
Titles:
Brain that Wouldn't Die
Little Shop of Horrors
Dementia 13
House on Haunted Hill
Phantom Ship
The Terror(Jack Nicholson)
The Ghoul
and one other I couldn't remember. something with corpse in the title.
Quality is fairly cruddy as you would suspect. Like the Target titles the package says Digitially Remastered/Sound Enhanced, hahahahahahahaha. I bought the first 4 and briefly popped them into the DVD player--House on Haunted Hill was actually fairly decent, I think they copied it from a restored version. Otherwise they looked like VHS copies, Brain that Wouldn't Die was particularly bad(but still an awesome movie!), Little Shop looked like someone had fallen asleep on the Contrast button. They are also all fullscreen. Still for $1 or free with Best Buy Bucks, whaddya want.

The Ghoul, though... I thought that was an MGM title only?

Has anyone bought the $1.00 version of The Ghoul? Does it have the same running time as the MGM release? According to IMDB, there are two versions of the film with different running times.
