This is generally the reason I hate limited edition stuff that I enjoy purchasing myself. You have someone who purchases multiple copies for themselves keeping MAYBE one for personal and the others to make a profit on.
And most people wonder why you cant get a copy of variant or limited quantity items at retail or e-tailers for that matter.
But hey... I guess everyone has to make a living.
((sorry guys, I've been holding that one in for some time now and after watching this thread hit the TTT about 3 times I had to say something))

I see nothing wrong with people wanting to make cash from it as you take your chances all the time, I am trying to do it but it ussually ends up going bad and you loose cash, but not always.
I never got any of the super Troy sets, but if anyone had known how much they would shoot up in price I know for a fact many people would have bought as many as they could get hold of to sell to pay for the copy they keep
people whi have them get some classy Photos took of them

I like the way that the DVDetective has it set, with only one purchase per household for most limited titles. However, some people still take advantage of it and use different addresses for shipping purposes. Personally, I think these people should have their orders cancelled at the last minute, leaving them without any chance of getting the sets that they were trying to horde, meaning if they want them, they would have to pay ebay like prices that they were hoping to charge, instead of having to pay. Also, I would probably boot them from the site. Hey, if you can follow the sites rules and regulations such as one per household, go somewhere else for it.

I do agree it is a great idea, and if it was implemented better it would be even better, but still things which are as Limited as these have no chance of getting into those who want them's hands, unless you pay wayyyy to much.
