New (Regional?) Deal at FYE--$25 purchase earns a $10 coupon...

I was at FYE today at Palmer Park Mall (Easton, PA). They have a deal whereby any order that totals at least $25 qualifies for $10 off of a future order (during November). There is no minimum purchase for the future order, and all you need to do is save your receipt showing a $25 purchase, and you show it during the redemption period. Also, there is no limit to the number of coupons that can be earned. I don't know if they can be stacked, but I don't think they can.

Anyway, combine this with the current rebate offers (Day After Tomorrow, Ren & Stimpy, etc) and there are some hot deals. The CSR at the Easton store said it was at least going in in Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ. Not sure about other stores or regions. The earning period will be through October 30. The coupons can be redeemed sometime in November--they'll specify.

Hope this helps someone. I got Day After Tomorrow for $19.99, which came with a free (old) DVD and a $7 rebate, as well as a CD, and I earned $10 off a future purchase.

they have the same deal in the NYC stores. The dates that the $10 voucher will be good are 11/1/04-11/20/04.

I'll add this to the FYE rebate thread.

I think it's actually spend $20, get a $10 voucher. That's what my receipt says and that's what the manager at the FYE told me.

It must depend on the store. The one here in Easton was definitely "Spend $25..." and they had flyers all over the store, even life-sized Bush and Kerry holding them.

the FYE store in Santa Rosa, California, was participating in this, and I still have my receipt.

"Spend $25 or more and bring this receipt back to get $10 off any purchase you make between 11/1 and 11/20" --Excludes tickets, and gift cards, no cash back--

I wonder if I can use the gift cards I purchased last month (i.e., buy $50, get $10) to pay the remaining amount I owe on various preorders and all of this count towards this new deal of spending $25, getting $10. It sort of sounds like it if a receipt is all I need to show in November. I'll check on Tuesday when I go to pick up Van Helsing.

I would guess it does not include purchases made with the 50/10 gift card. They may feel thats "double-dipping" but I would suggest not using them anyway and saving those for times when there aren't deals like this!
