Best price on Takashi Miike films?

Who has the best prices for the R1 Miike films? Are these even worth picking up in Region 1, because I've heard they aren't exactly top quality? Thanks.

Not true. I have City of Lost Souls and Happiness of the Katakuris. Both are very good films, as well as being very good DVDs.

Depending on the title, most put out by Chimera tend to be over $10, unless you can find a deal. Artsmagic Miike films, on the other hand, are on the cheaper side.

I can say Audition is certainly worth an import, though only if you don't mind having a bare bones disk, as the R1 has both an interview with Miike as well as a commentary on final reel of the film. The Tartan CE is anamorphic and looks much better than the R1.

So the R1 version of Audition is NOT worth getting because of the quality? Audition was probably going to be the next one I picked up.

The R1 version is the "Director's Cut" and appers to be about 5 minutes longer.

So it's really between R1 with 5 extra minutes or the R0 UK version that's Anamorphic. Why can't there be one that has it all? Ugh.
