The Wonder Years (TV show) on DVD?

This was a great show with very funny and warm moments.

Does anyone know if they have plans to release the five seasons on DVD?

It will be tough because it's a musical clearance nightmare.

Doesn't anybody here have an in with Joe Cocker? I'd say that half of his Greatest Hits album was featured on this show.

Not sure if I can say this, and if I can't feel free to delete my post mods, but there are "other" ways to get the show. You probably want it in it's pristine dvd glory, and so do I, but if you are dying to see it, the entire 115 episodes are indeed floating around cyberspace.

Again?

Well, this has been discussed before. I know, because I asked about it a while ago.

Other than the two Image releases which I sold one of on ebay and will soon sell the other, there is no news. The two discs were:

1) Best of The Wonder Years (best of episode from first day of high school showing events from middle school) and last episode.

2) Christmas Wonder Years (two X-Mas episodes from the show).

As others have said, it's a rights issue with the music on the show.

Maybe six seasons. IMDB says 1988-1993.

Didn't this show finish top in the poll Fox had not too long ago about which shows to release next on DVD? At least in the top five? There is clearly enough interest in this. I know the music rights nightmare, but I think there would be a large enough audience for this that they would make their money back.

Unless they want to pull an SCTV and charge 90.00 for every eight episodes.
