Mellisa Etheridge has cancer, cancels tour

I'm not a big fan of hers, but I wish her well.

Melissa Etheridge has canceled all of her upcoming tour dates after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Etheridge--whose prognosis is described as "excellent"--will undergo surgery, and her doctor is expecting a "speedy and complete recovery," according to a press release.
"I am fortunate to be under a wonderful doctor's care and thankful that this was caught early," Etheridge said in a statement. "I am looking forward to a quick and full recovery."

@ TurdAnyway, I'm not a fan either but I know she has a tough road ahead. I wish her and loved ones the best.

That's quite a shock. At least her prognosis is good and it sounds like she will recover fully and with little complications.
Still, even though it says she caught it early and is going to be treated, cancer is never something you want to find out you have.
